The ni-sen discussion group aims to develop a Northern Ireland Learning Support / Special Needs community network with a free exchange of ideas and mutual support. Everyone is welcome and invited to post questions, solutions or share their ideas and practice. The ni-sen discussion group is run by all the members and if you have a question it will be answered by your colleagues. ni-sen's success depends on your enthusiasm and willingness to share ideas. Do encourage your colleagues to register - we need everyone who is involved with Learning Support / Special Needs in Northern Ireland to be a part of our network. The list is managed by: Norma Perceval-Price [ norma.price@granadamedia.com ] and Lisa Brown [ Lisa.Brown@granadamedia.com ] ni-sen is an open discussion group. This means that anyone with an interest in this area is welcome to participate in the discussions. All discussions will be publicly available and when you post a message, your email address will be visible to registered users. All messages sent to ni-sen are stored in a publicly available archive. Archives are provided as an additional resource to users and enables non members to browse the messages. Subscribe to ni-sen by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. ni-sen is reactively moderated [ What is moderation? ]. An acceptable use policy has been established by Becta which members are expected to follow. The details you provide on the registration form will be used only to supply you with the services youve selected. These details will be collected via email and stored electronically in a database in accordance with the current data protection legislation and as set out in Becta's privacy and data protection statement. |
