The physical disability network (pd-net) is a discussion group for professionals involved in the education of children with physical and neurological disabilities and complex medical needs.

pd-net is intended to provide a forum for the sharing of ideas, views and information and to encourage on-going professional development for practitioners, researchers and others concerned with the education of these young people.

pd-net is an open discussion group. This means that anyone with an interest in this area is welcome to participate in the discussions. All discussions will be publicly available and when you post a message, your email address will be visible to registered users.

An acceptable use policy has been established by Becta which members are expected to follow.

All messages sent to pd-net are stored in a publicly available archive. Archives are provided as an additional resource to users and enables non members to browse the messages. The archive also means that you do not have to save every message you receive from this discussion group.
