About senco-forum

This mailing list is for anyone who wants to support Special Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs), those in local authorities and others involved in the education of pupils with special educational needs. Established in 1996, membership of senco-forum comprises mainly of SENCOs but also includes a range of education professionals and other interested parties, all of whom will be supporting the work of the SENCO.

The list aims to provide an opportunity to discuss issues and provide practical advice which will help Special Needs Co-ordinators carry out their roles.

Using senco-forum

To post a message to all the list members, send email to senco-forum@lists.becta.org.uk.

Subscribing to senco-forum

Subscribe to senco-forum by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.

The details you provide on the registration form will be used only to supply you with the services you’ve selected. These details will be collected via email and stored electronically in a database in accordance with the current data protection legislation and as set out in Becta's privacy and data protection statement.

You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.

If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options.
