The Traveller Education (trav-ed) discussion group is for practitioners with an interest in Traveller education who wish to share ideas and practical advice. The list opened in November 1998 and has around 200 participants. The focus of the list is Traveller Education in the UK but welcomes the participation of teachers and students from around the world. Trav-ed is an open discussion group. This means that anyone with an interest in this area is welcome to participate in the discussions. All discussions will be publicly available and when you post a message, your email address will be visible to registered users. Trav-ed is reactively moderated [ What is moderation? ]. An acceptable use policy has been established by Becta which members are expected to follow. All messages sent to trav-ed are stored in a publicly available archive. Archives are provided as an additional resource to users and enables non members to browse the messages. | Subscribing to trav-ed |

Subscribe to trav-ed by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. The details you provide on the registration form will be used only to supply you with the services youve selected. These details will be collected via email and stored electronically in a database in accordance with the current data protection legislation and as set out in Becta's privacy and data protection statement. |
