[eal-bilingual] RE: newly arrived stage 1's

Can anybody suggest starting points for teaching English, ( phonics, 
vocabulary, grammar, handwriting) to newly-arrived stage 1's.

However, a warning - using the special features facility on the photocopier 
to produce A5 sized booklets can test one's sanity. Perseverance is the key.
