The best person we had was Judy Douglas who used to work in Wandsworth and is now Regional Director in National Strategy Team. She did a fantastic session for us on historical background, creoles, Black varieties of English and how to raise achievement of Black pupils...

We are looking for a good speaker to do an INSET on raising the chievement of black Afrian and Afro-Caribbean children. We want someone lievely and interesting with plenty of hands on practical ideas not lots of theory and research. We are based in NW London. Any sugestions?
