[eal-bilingual] new arrivals etc

I'm actually new to this group, having only been
appointed EAL coordinator this year, in a school which
is only 3 years old, with no previous separate EAL
coordinator. I am also an MFL teacher. Although I
haven't said anything up to now, I have found this
group really useful in terms of helpful information
and making you think. For a start, I probably would
not have known about the NALDIC conference! (I'm
going, by the way!) I don't feel the need to join any
other group, as at present, this one is exactly right
for me.
