download from www.bfinclusion.org.uk
Please see resources - new to English.

Please could you direct me towards resources suitable for an 11 year
old Thai boy who has just arrived in England and has had no previous
exposure to English. We have no Thai speaker in school - though I am
pursuing local contacts - and it is a long time since I have dealt with
such a complete beginner. All advice on materials / resources
/strategies and particularly things that I can action quickly to help
mainstream staff, will be very gratefully received!
Many thanks,
Geraldine Dockrell
