How about John Landon from Moray House in Edinburgh. I attended a lecture he gave a few years ago and he was interesting and informative. Practical tips for the classroom backed up with solid research. Last year the members were keen to have something about collaborative learning (we had a great workshop in Perth one year with Joanna Boothby (I think that's her name?) We are open to ideas as Scotland has been getting quite a lot of new to English pupils enrolling from Eastern Europe too, so anything with regard to helping support in this area.
