Dear Neelab We do not run specific training for BCAs but run an extensive programme on EAL, bilingualism and ethnic minority achievement for Teaching Assistants, many of whom are also bilingual. In the next year we hope to make this an accredited programme. Best wishes Sara Sara Green Head of Language Development Service Family and Children's Services Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Isaac Newton PDC 108a Lancaster Road London W11 1QS 020 7598 4817 020 7598 4808 sara.green at rbkc.gov.uk EAL 14-19 website: www.rbkc.gov.uk/eal14to19 RBKC website: www.rbkc.gov.uk -----Original Message----- From: eal-bilingual-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk [mailto:eal-bilingual-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk] On Behalf Of neelab fazli Sent: 14 April 2008 12:02 To: eal-bilingual at lists.becta.org.uk Subject: Re: [eal-bilingual] eal-bilingual Digest, Vol 55, Issue 3 hi i work in a school as a bilingual classroom assistant and wanted to know if you knew any one that was providing courses for bca's in regards to eal children. reply soon thanks> From: eal-bilingual-request at lists.becta.org.uk> Subject: eal-bilingual Digest, Vol 55, Issue 3> To: eal-bilingual at lists.becta.org.uk> Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2008 12:00:01 +0100> > Send eal-bilingual mailing list submissions to> eal-bilingual at lists.becta.org.uk> > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit> http://lists.becta.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/eal-bilingual> or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to> eal-bilingual-request at lists.becta.org.uk> > You can reach the person managing the list at> eal-bilingual-owner at lists.becta.org.uk> > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific> than "Re: Contents of eal-bilingual digest..."> > > Today's Topics:> > 1.
