I hope the maths problem solving kit will be made available in some form. In 
my experience, apart from number bonds, which are often insecure, there is a 
major problem with children understanding what it is they need to do, even 
when the question is framed in simple vocabulary. This is a most important 
issue, and govt should spend some money researching it. John Bald,
