[eal-bilingual] Kindersite newsletter Spring 2008

I don't know whether many of you have come across or joined the 
Kindersite. It often sends some pretty esoteric stuff but from time to 
time there are little networking gems for those working in first 
language. I attach one below which you may find useful but you will 
need to remind them that the languages of Europe are not just the 
European languages. Stuart

Dear Kindersiters

Welcome to all our new users.

Just a single announcement this time about the Kindersite's 
involvement in 
an European Union funded education project.

The project 'Languages from the Cradle', is collecting Lullabies from 
Europe 
and it has now launched its website at http://www.lullabies-of-europe.
org/ 
. The project is asking if you would like to get involved, either by:
1. subscribing to their newsletter (there are forms on the website)
2. by helping gather lullabies

Althought the project is primarily aimed at collecting European 
lullabies, 
later it will also collect lullabies from other countries as well.

As the project progresses the Kindersite will be adding access to the 
lullabies of the project, from the Kindersite.
