[eal-bilingual] EAL and Science

Collaborative Learning and the ASE met last week to look at ways in 
which they could work together to support bilingual learners in science 
lessons. We are looking at developing collaborative materials on Health 
and Safety, since many science teachers are currently wary about doing 
practical work when there might be communication difficulties in this 
area. We are also planning to cross link materials and resources. ASE 
would like to also work on and disseminate glossaries of terms in first 
languages.  If anyone would like to join us in this work please contact
