I'm forwarding this message from Teachers TV [www.teachers.tv] Cheers, Frank -------------- What is it like to be a young refugee? This week on Teachers TV we take a look at the lives of young refugees, exploring the difficulties and challenges they face. There are many teenagers amongst the estimated one and a half million Iraqi refugees living in Syria. Often these young people are the only ones in their families who manage to get work. This powerful documentary looks at their lives - the experiences of those who attend school and those who have no choice but to go to work. The second part of this series, Teaching Iraqi Children, offers a unique insight into how Syrian teachers are responding to the challenge of teaching the large number of Iraqi refugee children registering at schools in Damascus. What is it like to teach these young people? Watch to find out.
