Article: [eal-bilingual] undergraduate teaching courses for EAL.

Does anyone know if there are any undergraduate teaching courses that have teaching EAL as a substantial component of it?
Thanks

Colleagues

This is a US publication but may be of interest. I recently picked up a
new book by Margo Gottlieb - Assessing English Language Learners Bridges
from Language Proficiency to Academic Achivement which may be useful to
us here - Corwin Press - A Sage Publication Company ISBN 0-7619-8889-0

Dear all
Does anyone know of a good training resource to help EAL and mainstream
staff accurately assess the speaking and listening skills of bilingual
learners and assign them an approp language stage/level (1-4 in
England)? I've checked out the teachers TV excerpt but the clarity of
the pupils' talk isn't great. It doesn't need to be video, audio
would
suffice.

Thanks
Luan
