For information. Lancashire is hosting a conference on 28th April  - Welcome to English: meeting the needs of Newly Arrived Pupils.  The keynote speaker is Jill Catlow and workshops cover a range of issues including Polish cultural information, early years, induction, and language acquisition. Gordon Ward will demonstrate his Racing to English resource, and Books and More, specialist diversity booksellers, will be present throughout the day.
