Thanks for the feedback. Sorry I have not been around to join in the string. To follow up: Luke is most likely right that posting a link does not provide all the irrevocables for the TES. I will continue to post links on TES to activities which are likely to attract interest from mainstream teachers on the principle that it will work towards creating more eal friendly classrooms. Like the needs of EAL pupils collaborative activities can be plotted on the language needs/social needs/learning needs triangle in a variety of places and consequently some of them are more attractive than others to classroom/subject teachers. I will and can remove links whenever the take up is small and/or they don't get rated or commented on. I am thinking at the moment of only posting links to quicklooks rather than the full activities. Ever since I first started sharing activities they have been nicked/plagiarised by publishers including (and in particular) the strategy: a form of flattery??? Still they are designed to be good enough to use and easy to tweak so I should not be surprised. If you are posting any activities I'll be happy to add a link to the clp site if it is not linked already. I have a website - www.littlelearner.eu which provides EAL resources, mainly to support Polish speakers. Some resources are free, some are chargeable. There are also a selection of links to other good sites. I crossed it out. There is a long history of creative work being appropriated by business people for their own purposes, and teachers, blessed with an above average goodwill quotient, are particularly vulnerable. So, post on this site, or start a blog. I've done this, johnbald.typepad.co/language, with ideas for teaching reading and languages. John Bald, independent consultant ..
