OK, i'll do some demos and get feedback. OK my view is to lose it completely on repository pages as it is confusing to non-techy users and as you say too busy. Long lists of items are just not easy to browse in it but are a little better in html. That means having explicit navigation on the page via links. You could have a common simplified pane of some sort I guess. You could have it on a 'special browse' site page for the cases when it is useful. -- -- Steve Lee www.fullmeasure.co.uk On 10/25/06, Judge Simon <Simon.Judge at sbpct.nhs.uk> wrote: > OK - navigation box (on the left, when you are in certain areas, e.g. > the info area)... > > It is too busy at the moment. > > I can change this to just display the contents of the current folder, > then maybe with an up link at the bottom > > Or maybe, even, have breadcrumbs at the bottom of this box (with a > different shading) > > Opinions? > > Cheers > > Simon > > Simon Judge > > Clinical Scientist > Access to Communication and Technology - West Midlands Rehab Centre > > simon.judge at southbirminghampct.nhs.uk > > 0121 627 1627 ex 53245 > 0121 627 8892 (fax) > > 91 Oak Tree Lane > Selly Oak > Birmingham > B29 6JA > > -- > This e-mail contains proprietary information some or all of which may > be legally privileged.
