Hi Simon and All, I agree with all ideas and comments that have been expressed. I will add some from my point of view. - The most important thing is that we can get OATS go on let it be known. - Since some groups of users are small (e.g. AAC users) it is important that we can get several countries involved. Then it is important that we can find a way of translating the information in suitable way. Most developers can handle English but the problem will be for the users and some professionals. It is important that users, parents and (from SIT:s point of view) teachers easily can find software on the repository but I don't think it will be possible to translate all information about the software. One solution could be to add national comments/translations as a section of the software information (like Music games). If there is any information in other languages in English maybe flags can be entered after the Software name. - Since the communication between users and developers is an essential issue in OATS it is important that we can find a way of using the forums in a suitable way. - It would be nice if you could use the offers of using students to develop AT software tools of limited size useful for children and young people in education. Seems there are now some 1000 extensions. Could watch this thread just started by Aaron Leventhal for ideas in the screen reader space http://tinyurl.com/2jmoqr We have the hawking toolbar on OATS for alternative input and Jambu will cover some of the same ground but is not an extension (though runs on the same XUL core).
