Hi everyone, My name is Christopher Leung and I am one of the organizers for this event. Simon was kind enough to introduce me several weeks ago to this list and help solicit project ideas for this event, at least one of which we would like to pursue during the weekend. It's great to see interest on this list. We hope to inspire these kinds of events in the future, particularly at the university and young professional level, to spread awareness to developers early on in their careers. The idea of working with remote teams is exciting. We're still honing in on our 'official' projects for the weekend; once we get a better idea, we can look at what ways there is for contribution to those projects. Off the bat, I can say that there are some Jambu/SAW related projects that could use the expertise of the people on this list! It would also be nice to have a set of people who the student teams can solicit for accessibility questions or direction during the weekend; maybe we can create an IRC channel during the event for this.
