That's the impression I got. It's too far off piste for Mozilla and
the Mozpad guys have other goals. Open Komodo is the main hope.

Bear in mind that is just Python access to XPCOM (the guts of
Mozilla). Python DOM scripting in web pages is even less likely to
appear though Mark Hammond worked on it.
