especially in countries where commercial systems such as PCS and Rebus have not yet got too entrenched. Of course that does cut out the UK (find me a Bliss user under the age of 30 and I'll give you a knighthood!) and a number of Western European/North American countries but elsewhere where AAC is still relatively immature or where no symbol libraries are established, Bliss, properly promoted and well-supported can still do well (and is doing well, for example in Eastern Europe). And of course Bliss is the only true AAC language (being elementally based) as opposed to the others that are pictographic vocabularies.
