Nice idea. Definitely something we'd like to contribute to in the long term... We've put some video case studies together as a starter: http://tinyurl.com/ywgytv http://www.youtube.com/barnsleyat Cheers. Simon -----Original Message----- From: oats-sig-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk [mailto:oats-sig-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk] On Behalf Of Steve Lee Sent: Saturday, September 08, 2007 6:53 AM To: OATs Project Special Interest Group Subject: [oats-sig] Promoting OATS with video Looking at AbilityNet's collection of AT related videos on YouTube made me realise that it would great to capitalise on the viral marketing opportunities for OATS. An OATSoft YouTube channel is one possibility, but we need more videos first. Some webcasts and videos are on other sites like Yahoo so a section on OATSoft with links back from the channels would be a better solution. We could do with with a set of introductory videos and webcasts showing the benefits of OATS. There's already Dasher videos and we could add OATS such as FireVox, Orca (with magnifier), GOK, SAW, PowerTalk etc. For end users we could show how easy it is to use. For clinical staff we could show how to set up simple customisations (AutoHotKey?) Does anyone have experience and/or the inkling to start this? -- Steve Lee -- Open Source Assistive Technology Software PowerTalk - your presentations can speak for themselves www.fullmeasure.co.uk ********************************************************************** This message may contain confidential and privileged information.
