I agree, very interesting!

But I don't think you're right Steve in labelling this "an Eclipse 
project". As I read it this is a community forum similar to Oatsoft, but 
with a focus on the needs and interests of a lot heavier players in the 
general health research and industry area. They say they view the Eclipse 
Foundation as a model community, but there is no statement about Eclipse 
being the required platform for projects, is there? IBM and the Eclipse 
Foundation are definitely influential members (they are also referring to 
the Eclipse license as a preliminarily preferred license). But there are 
others like Collabnet who offer their forge and subversion tools. 

Could be a possible community to link up to in some way later on, 
especially when Oatsoft has become a bit more established in a years time 
or so?

Definitely interesting right away for you Andy, I would guess.

Yes looks good. It seems to be a specific technical infrastructure
though, namely an Eclipse project.
