Simon,

I was rather hoping that you, Steve and a few others, might go ahh and  
tell me.
seriously if no one else does I shall be obliged to, but it would be  
great to get some input first.

it's my belief that you will be more open to perceiving the ultimate  
purpose than I am if you are untainted by my preconceptions.
if that makes any sense.

ie why would anyone want do this?

rather than: this is why I did this, what do you think?
