[senco-forum] SEN Training for teachers

It should be added -- training for all teachers should include sufficient  
time for consideration of the vital importance of individual education  plans 
(IEP's) for all SEN children -- and how all teachers should  contribute 
dynamically to target-setting and reviews of children's progress  towards meeting 
those targets -- with direct contributons in the target-setting  by the child; the 
parent; external specialists;teachers;and SENCo. Strict  atttention to the 
guidance in the CoP is vital in this respect. Brendan  King
