Of course, he did not compose the list himself. Is Braille fonetic or would he actually know how difficult traditional spelling is? Oh, Wikipedia says it has some contractions. We could do with some of those. However, in spite of his short-comings, I do admire David Blunkett for the way he copes with his blindness.
