I suspect many parents are only too well aware their children ARE 'The
Nightmare Before Christmas' ...between when the schools break up and
Christmas Eve when the shops unceremoniously tear down all their
seasonal decorations in anticipation of the shop-fest on Boxing Day.

But then I'm being cynical, aren't I?
