[senco-forum] KS3 online IT tests

As a matter of interest   here you have on screen instructions, is the
facility available to have the text in audio, available to listen through
headphones?

  This is similar to my comments on my previous mailing.

  My school is trialling the online tests for KS3 ICT assessments online.

  The Headof ICT has warned me that our students with reading difficulties
are going to struggle. There is masses of on screen reading before a very
minor ICT skill is tested. The assignements follow on from each other and
there is a time limit.

  I've asked him to go back and ask QCA about a test with 25% extra time
built in - online reading etc - but in the meantime does anyone have any
experience of these?
