[senco-forum] circle of friends

Thanks to thosw who responded to my request for info about establishing 
a circle of friends for a child with BESD in a Y4 class. I am keen to 
try it out in the new year, but have several concerns: The class has a 
very high number of children with a variety of BESD. Is there a better 
approach in this situation? How willing are parents to allow their child 
to be a volunteer? Sadly I can imagine a number of parents not wanting 
their child anywhere near this girl, let alone encouraging friendship! I 
have been offered a copy of a secondary parental consent letter, does 
anyone have a primary age one suitable for this scenario? do you name 
the child? What happens if a child volunteers but the parent says no?
