[senco-forum] SEN select committee report

The review was looking at SEN per se not Disability.

I gave oral evidence and I work as s SENCO and I am disabled.

My school employs 15 TAs/LSAs 5 of whom have a disability.

There are 12 teachers excluding myself and 3 of then have a disability.

That is --- a disability as per the DDA

BUT very few would regard themselves as disabled and would not tick the 'I 
am disabled' box on an application form because that is not how they see 
themselves and that is their right.

So as to how many adults there are in a school with a disability?  It's 
anyone's guess really.
