[senco-forum] dyslexia friendly school status

I know it's the end of term and all that but....
My lea is planning to apply for dyslexia friendly school status and
consequently I'm currently persuading senior management what a wonderful
opportunity this would be for the school.
Is there anyone else in a secondary school who has gone through this process
and willing to let me know how the experience was for them?
...I'd especially love to read and positive experiences.
