Article: [senco-forum] can't name colours despite lots of support

If he can sort colours then I suspect it is a speech/word retrieval
difficulty, inability to relate the concrete thing to the abstract colour. Can he
name colours on a sheet rather thsan objects? For many children a green car is
primarily a car and the green is irrelevant information.

Or maybe:

See http://www.site4sight.org.uk/Quality/RGov/Guidelines/Brain.htm

"Colour vision is commonly intact although some children can match but not
name colours (colour anomia). "

Best wishes,
Aly
