Hear, Hear again David! What about the big time tax avoiders including  big 
stars putting agents fees down as "expenses"? DLA is very hard to get -- you  
need a degree in sociology/medecine to fill the form in -- and a medical is  
required by special medics who are trained to in how refuse most  applications 
at first receipt.

I'm, personally, quite sick of parents of the most difficult to teach  
children, on the lowest incomes, being castigated as "negligent" or "Benefit  
Scroungers" by well off middle class professionals who have no understanding of  the 
reality of their children's parents lives -- many honourable exceptions of  
course. It is nothing really to do with teachers how their  pupils parents 
manage their lives -- don't interfere if it is not likely to  help -- and don't 
make judgements for good or ill. Teachers don't like  parents who poke into how 
they support children and manage their classroom -- so  what is sauce for --
