From: "webmaster at aylesburyvale-sec.bucks.sch.uk" <webmaster at aylesburyvale-> > Also_OSX_is_much_more_SEN_and_disabilty_friendly! Here's a quote from Judith Stansfield (taken from the Apple website): When a dyslexic child is using a computer for doing things like creating Web sites and straight writing, [a Mac is...] preferable to a PC I would say a mac is preferable for a whole range of other reasons to. It generally is far far more intuitive, the way it works just makes a lot more sense to kids. My seven year old can do amazing things on our mac at home. He creates stunning documents, edits photos, creates music etc etc to a quality level I know he wouldn't (possibly even couldn't) achieve on a PC. This usability is very liberating for SEN kids. ==================================== This email has been sent from the Bucks LEA.
