For those who have asked about easy access to podcasts (without the need for an iPod) which include a range of audiobooks and spoken programmes on every subject you can imagine, there are two main sources I use regularly. One is to download the free and very excellent iTunes. This runs on both Macs AND Windoze. iTunes contains a service for subsribing (free) to podcasts so your puter automatically downloads the latest programme when it becomes available. You can then listen to it on your computer through iTunes or load it into your iPod if you are lucky enough to own one. I highly recommend the Ricky Gervais podcasts though they will cost you (very very cheap for what you get) However most podcasts are free. http://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/ The other source I use is Podcast Net which allows you to stream a podcast within your web browser requiring no additional software (you need the quicktime plugin though which you probably already have) http://www.podcast.net/ Hope this helps Mark -- Mark Norwood www.avssc.org ---------------------------------------- Worried about the content of this email?
