[senco-forum] behaviour

Good point Mary - I pointed the mum of a y6 boy with pretty obvious
'symptoms' in this direction and she followed it up, only to be told
there is no chance of being assessed yet as there are too many requests!

Do we now have suitably trained people with appropriate tests to refer
possible APD children to then? Where are they registered?

I would suggest she be referred for APD testing and that you look at
the 
classroom accomodations suggested here,

employing a more  visual method of teaching to work with her talents.
You could 
also refer her  father to APDUK for support. I expect her behaviour is
born 
out of frustration.  If she has really high scores in the visual field
she may 
be dual  exceptionalities.
