[senco-forum] APD testing update

Hi,

I am re-posting this with a more appropriate subject line, so it will be  
easily accessible to all, not those just interested in the behaviour thread to  
which it was a reply.

We are compiling a list of suitable professionals in the UK who can   
diagnose APD using adapted versions of old screening tests while the new  
ones are 
being developed; this is being done with the help of the Medical  Research  
Council Institute of Hearing Research,  (MRC/IHR) but in  the interim please  
request that parents get their GP to refer  specifically for APD testing,  
referrals 
to be addressed to Dr Tony  Sirimanna at the Department of  Paediatric 
Audiology, Great Ormond  Street Hospital in London.  

The list of suitable UK  professionals will be posted on the APDUK website as 
soon we can,   along with regular updates of research progress, as we receive 
them from  the  MRC/IHR.
