[senco-forum] GCSE alternatives

Hello everyone
  What do you use as an alternative to GCSE for those likely to get an F, G or below?  
  and
  Do you think it is worth doing all those 'Poems from different cultures' with pupils who are likely to get an F, G or below just so they can possibly get a GCSE grade of some kind?  
  and
  Do you think that not doing a GCSE course will penalise these pupils?
