This article was written at about the time I first meet Dilys, at an APD
Lecture at City University London. With Dilys' permission I have reproduced
a shortened version of her Presentation notes used on that day, on the APDUK
web site.

Since 2002 Dilys has been part of the UK APD steering Committee, that
advises the Medical Research Council regarding APD matters.
