Our pupils with Aspergers have usually done the exams in a separate room and use on line resources to revise. BBC bitesize and SAM learning are good. They also often came out to our base to work if they were stressed. One boy did not attend any lessons in Year 11 at all except maths and teachers e- mailed him work and visited him when they could. I think otherwise he would never have coped. Barbara -----Original Message----- From: senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk [mailto:senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk] On Behalf Of Alex Limon Sent: 06 November 2006 18:16 To: senco-forum at lists.becta.org.uk Subject: [senco-forum] Asperger Syndrome We have two Year 11 boys with Asperger Syndrome who are finding the pre-GCSE coursework and Mock exam and revision stressful and are not coping well. They both have extra time (but that is all) and even this can be very tiring for them. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can ease the burden for them?
