Article: [SENco-forum] exclusions and statements

Hear, Hear! Some children, with a statement for emotional or
behavioural difficulties benefit hugely from the more relaxed
atmosphere and higher pupil-teacher ratio of a PRU. Moving on to a
special school can bring security, expert teaching and achievement
to children who have experienced none of these. For those who think
concern for pupils is limited to maionstream try looking up the
Ofsted report for Gloucestershire Reintegration Service. (I work for
them but I wasn't seen so can take no individual credit!) Jill
