Dear All,    
    Last year I taught a really bright dyslexic girl. Unusually,. her reading - comprehension and single word - were well above average but her spelling was pretty amazing; causing her understandable frustration. I was sure she'd get A* in literature but was worried that the exam board would feel it had to penalise her spelling - her language skills were very impressive. She got A* in her language paper too - WJEC - (Welsh Joint).
     Just wanted to share that in case anyone has a similar student.
