Have you seen the Sci-plus 300 marketed by Inclusive technology at

THe Royal National Institute for the Blind (http://www.rnib.org.uk)  
produce a a scientific talking calculator ( in conjunction with open  
university) with 50 functions at £150 (ex vat - which you wouldn't  
need to pay for disabled.)  Jill
