Hi, There are some published word banks but I can't remember who publishes them off hand. Also Starspell have a list of subject specific key words and also a list of English words with explanations Also Framework for Teaching English includes a list of key English words. If you want copies email me off forum and I'll send them. I've also got one or two separate that I made up myself some time ago. I have contacted the AQA exam board and they say that they are unaware of anything like this and have not got back to me although they said they would look into it. Perhaps there are separate subject word lists or does anybody have fully generic ones for all subjects or know of anywhere they might be accessed?
