Declaration of commercial interest - I work part-time for
the company, & based not far from you. Contact at
www.wordsharksupport.co.uk

Wordshark 3s (now with over 50 games) has specialist subject
word lists for the main subjects for key stage 3, subdivided
into each of the QCA units of work: These cover much of the
GCSE vocabulary list, though it is a quick enough job to add
in your own word lists if you spot any gaps. The lists can
be printed out (and are available on the Wordshark disk as
Word documents) and the game format does make the learning
of the vocabulary rather more palatable!

Subjects - Art, Citizenship, D&T, English, Geography, ICT,
Maths, Music, PE, RE, Science.

Hi All

I am looking for any information on generic word lists for
SATs and/or GCSE exams to make the papers more accessible to
those with learning difficulties. I have contacted the AQA
exam board and they say that they are unaware of anything
like this and have not got back to me although they said
they would look into it.

Perhaps there are separate subject word lists or does
anybody have fully generic ones for all subjects or know of
anywhere they might be accessed?
