We were inspected at the end of last term. The new inspections are very 
different to the old style, look in every cupboard approach.
Most important is the Pre inspection briefing, which you will probably 
get the night before, but could be when they arrive.
Dont use up all your energy over the weekend as the contents of the Pre 
inspection briefing will tell you what they are focussing on. This is 
where the really useful running round can happen. Hopefully the issues 
they pick will be the same as you have identified in the SEF and are 
already working on. make sure you have action plans, which show who and 
when, what you are working on in these areas. even if you havent done 
much at all make it up the night before if you have to, dont tell any 
lies but just present the info in an impressive looking table!, just 
make sure key staff are aware of it! Other people have highlighted key 
issues I can only add showing how you evaluate provision as well as map it.
