Dear Dolina, >From your message I'm not sure whether you are referring to confusion of b-d (in your message title), or b-p, in your message. An old but effective help with b-d confusion is to get the child to write 'bed' on a piece of card to keep as a reminder for matching the sounds to the letter orientations. Others have also mentioned the help which correct letter formation gives. Not sure yet whether she can hear the difference but nothing noticeable in her reading as yet. Can any helpful person give me some ideas and/or addresses of free resources in form of worksheets or games which I can use with her? Thanks Dolina |
