Much the same for me Amanda. I have input when I need to but wouldn't attend a re-admission meeting unless I felt I needed to. I would expect to go to a full Pastoral Support Plan Meeting of a pupil with a Statement but not to the readmiting meeting unless there was a good reason to go. The last one I went to was because the Head needed a witness that the father would find non-threatening as he had already confronted one of the Deputies! Our school almost always readmits pupils to the Learning and Behaviour Unit where the pupil is in isolation for at least one day. The staff there work on a behaviour contract with the pupil. I'd put in my twopennorth if I wanted to.
