Dear Angela,

You will find the Cambridge IGCSE on
http://www.cie.org.uk/CIE/WebSite/home.jsp If you go to contact and
scroll down to the end of the page you will find a phone no - ask for
Special Arrangements. There is no information on the website about it
and they had to email the regulations to me. The regulations are very
different to those of GCSE. Sorry, I don't know anything about Edexcel -
I thought only Cambridge did IGCSE. Phone Edexcel to find out the
information using contact phone nos on their website. Specialist
Teachers who do Special Arrangements for CIE (Cambridge) have to be put
on their data base and they can only assess for extra time and the use
of a word processor. Everything else has to be done by an EP. Also the
deadlines dates for anything other than June exams are early - months
before those for GCSE. (If I remember correctly, the November exams
deadline is mid-August, for example).

Regards,
Janet
